Where is 10 Mockingbird Lane? just two doors down from 8 Mockingbird Lane--at the end of the drive--with the red door--and gardenias happily blooming out front--is my little dwelling. 10 Mockingbird Lane is my on-line domain, my home, and I choose to make it a place of peace and rest. The door is always open, even when it's raining. Anyone is welcome here, whether it's for a project idea, a budget guide, or a bit of motivation.
Who lives at 10 Mockingbird Lane? Good question! I do, during my working hours; that would be during my toddlers' nap time or in the evening. My name is Angela Atallah and I live in beautiful Northwest Florida. I am a Momma-at-home who works hard to provide the best possible for her family on a not-so-big budget. But most of all, I try to give my family my best, in work, in play, in love. Of course, I have days. . . . ("Oh, no, it's one of those days for Momma.") Peaches are ripe during the first part of the summer in the South. We picked peaches from a gorgeous orchard. I brought home a boxful and then realized--I had no idea what to do with them!

How To Clean the Kid's Pool (and keep it clean)
Okay, for #356 on today's to-do list: Clean the Kid's Pool.
For the little pools, it's easy to dump them every day or so. For the bigger pools, there's a lot more work and water involved. Here's how to clean those bigger pools and keep them sparkly-fresh for about a week at a time.
First, start with a clean pool. If the pool already has water in it, dump the water and start from scratch.
Next, clean the surface of the pool. How you do this will depend on the type of pool you have--blow-up pools seem to be much more fragile than the roll-out pools.
