How to Clean the Kid's Pool (and keep it clean)

Okay, for #356 on today's to-do list: Clean the Kid's Pool.
For the little pools, it's easy to dump them every day or so. For the bigger pools, there's a lot more work and water involved. Here's how to clean those bigger pools and keep them sparkly-fresh for about a week at a time.
First, start with a clean pool. If the pool already has water in it, dump the water and start from scratch.
Next, clean the surface of the pool. How you do this will depend on the type of pool you have--blow-up pools seem to be much more fragile than the roll-out pools. Be sure all debris such as leaves and dirt is removed from the bottom of the pool. Wipe the pool down to get rid of mold and mud.
Fill the pool with clean water.
Now this is the magic to this process--add 1/4 tsp chlorine bleach to every 10 gallons of water. Just like a "real" pool, the chlorine bleach will keep the water crystal-clear and clean.
Daily mainenance is as simple as skimming out the dead bugs, leaves, and other junk.
The clean pool water should last about a week. Once the water begins to be cloudy and the bottom of the pool feels slippery, dump the water and begin the cleaning process over again.
